Villa Park

The staff on this island definitely deserve a 10/10 rating. From the bus driver, captain of the boat, reception (especially Khushbu) housekeeping, restaurant waiters (especially Majeedh) chefs, spa therapists, pool attendants (Shamim) pool bar attendant - they are all amazing. They know how to ensure that guests have a memorable experience at Villa Park. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one.

Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Beds are comfortable, food is delicious. Various watersport activities. Truly an unforgettable holiday!

Olhuveli

I did a day pass at this resort. It was the third resort that I visited on day pass here in the Maldives. This was my least favorite, even though it was still a very nice place. I didn't like that. It was so huge. It was difficult to remember where anything was and too far to walk. I had to wait for the bus and once while I was trying to get to the lunch buffet in time before it closed, I was standing in the wrong place for 20 minutes.
I did not care for the music that they had at the pool all day long

Araamu Holidays & Spa

This was the best hotel we ever stayed at. We miss it so much, we had such a good time there. I can't say anything bad about this hotel. This was our best vacation in our lives. We stayed here in the beginning of april. They welcomed us with cold towels and a drink. The staff was so so friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice with sea view. They cleaned our room everyday. The hotel is beyond beautiful. It was such an amazing experience. We had breakfast in our package, the variety of foods was very good and everything was very tasty. The private beach is only a 1 minute walk from the hotel. It's very beautiful and the water is very clean. We really miss being there, it was so good! I recommend this hotel to everyone! I can't express with words how much we loved being there.

Hotel Jen Malé, Maldives

The location is fantastic, it is very central to the cultural sites of Malé and there is no shortage of options to spend your time how you please.
Whether it is with a drink and sweet treat in the lounge with Jen's Kitchen to Go, a treatment at the spa, a relaxing swim in the pool, a tantalising meal at Azur or just enjoying the room after a walk through the city.
The Friday Mosque and Presidental residence are almost directly next door and the art gallery and museum are also within a few minutes. It is easy to find your way around and to visit the local markets and streets.
The staff is very attentive and incredibly welcoming in all areas.
The morning buffet is extensive for my taste, I can find a variety of cuisines and in all restaurants I always felt relaxed.
I wouldn't compare it to other JEN hotels though as it is up to par for the standard of Malé in my opinion. You shouldn't expect a massive pool, long hours, alcoholic drinks etc.
Azur sports an extensive list of delicious non-alxoholic drinks and if you cannot live without beer or wine, there non-alcoholic options.
I seldomly see such a vast food menu though where I want to try the majority of dishes, but Azur definitely delivers!
On a personal sidenote, I was surprised that oatmilk or almond milk were hard to find. On my first night I asked in Azur, and they had sent someone to procure it for me for the morning breakfast, which is so sweet! I cannot have soy milk as it causes the same problem so I appreciated being able to get my coffee after all on both visits. The Costa at the airport has it though, in case anybody was wondering.

Maagiri Hotel

I didn't stay at the hotel but invited friends for lunch in the restaurant Faru on 2nd floor. Creative menu choices, excellent food well presented. However the staff were not attentive, even though there were few guests.

Kagi Maldives Resort & Spa

Kagi is a beautiful resort. Visited in June which is slightly non peak. it was wonderful to enjoy the luxurious facilities with no scrum.

Environment/Reef: reviews will tell you that this has one of the best housereefs close to Male (15 min by seaplane, 1hr but speedboat) and I agree completely.
I am a relative amateur to scuba/snorkeling but I was delighted to see live coral polyps in various colours all over the housereef despite the recent mass bleaching.

Fish life is plentiful. During our stay, we also saw eagle rays, sting rays, hawkbill turtles and numerous nursing and black tip sharks. Timing is important of course, as most sightings were at just after dawn and just before dusk.

I would suggest full coverage snorkeling gear as "sea lice" bites can be quite vicious at the border of reef and open waters (might be basic basic to some but it was news to me lol)

Overall I sense that the island is kept very well and the resort does try to preserve the environment as best as possible

Service: service at Kagi is top notch. The warmth and enthusiasm of the wait staff in the restaurants always astounded me. (although some of the newer staff obviously were struggling with basics still, their efforts were still commendable.)

My group was a little big so we still had to occasionally ask them to make up for shortfalls (eg towels, tooth brush, shaving kit) but these were all attended to promptly on request. Very good service but not at the level of telepathy that one sees in other places.

The food at the 3 restaurants is very good (8/10 : Delicious but not to the level you want them to setup a branch in your home country)
We all enjoyed the food tremendously. Mornings with freshly baked croissants were a treat!
If I had to quibble, it might be the fact that we were limited to 3 portions to choose from starter/main/dessert each meal despite being premium all in package. We were very full on those and truthfully most humans wouldn't survive eating more than those 3 portions 😂 but by principle alone, it doesnt sit well.

Rooms: The island is immaculately kept despite being 3years old. The over water villas we stayed in were very clean (no weird smells) and well maintained with poweful aircons and good pillows/beds. The setup seems to be leaning toward couple holidays as the bathroom does not allow simultaneous use of the 2 indoor/outdoor showers without exposing yourself completely to your fellow roommates. Perhaps provision of folding shower screens for non couple stays might help. Otherwise the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable.

Overall Kagi deserves the high praise it gets. Highly recommended.

Kaani Palm Beach

Kaani Beach Hotel is serene and peaceful. The room was very affordable and beautiful 😍 I booked this room since I would be going for excursions during the day. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with basic amenities and proper housekeeping. Kaabi offered free breakfasts and had friendly staff. Everyone was responsible and caring.

Royal Island

I had an incredible experience on a beautiful island in the Maldives! The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The stunning views and relaxing atmosphere made this!|It’s hard to capture just how magical it felt to be surrounded by such natural beauty!

Samann Grand

My comment is mainly related to the value vs price. I paid $250 per night for a "suite room" which was not at all a suite room and with a view of the roof a/c of a building opposite. Breakfast was very mediocre. If it was like a 100$ , could be forgivable. Even being aware hotels in Male is overpriced in general, its better and cheaper to stay at the resorts if you can help it.

Rooms are clean. Service staff are helpful and polite. Location is good if you have meetings on the island.

Hurawalhi Island Resort

In one word - paradise!!!
Nature is unbelievably beautiful in the Maldives, Hurawali is an enchanting private island in the pristine Lhaviyani Atoll. Owners plan, build and operate with sustainable goals (e.g. no PET bottles). Service and the whole team is simply amazing, very customer focused, constantly trying to make guests experience their number one priority. We have truly appreciated this service level and dedication and friendliness of the staff!! So once again, simply paradise.

Furaveri Maldives

Furaveri Resort Maldives is surrounded by a shimmering blue lagoon, white-sand beaches, and swaying palms, and we had the finest trip with a wonderful experience in all aspects. We were thinking that Maldives is the best for honeymoon, but Tamanna made this experience unforgettable not only for us but for my kids as well.

Excellent resort, we were extremely fortunate to experience exceptional service from the seaplane till we landed in Resort and enthusiastic staff who truly made our visit memorable.

We had a virtuous time with my family and kids, a wide selection of restaurants with delicious food and tremendous nature’s views.

The island team greeted us with excellent reception with great music and local dance. The island has a dedicate platform for Seaplane docking ,hicwhic not common in Maldives.

Since the moment we landed, Island Host Tamanna hailed us with an earnest smile and sincere enthusiasm, with truly incomparable skills. Explanation regarding Resort's offerings to us and spespeciallo our kids’ with immaculate courtesy to every detail suited to our taste and tailored entertainment. She upgraded us without even asking for it to show her curtesy.

JAAFAIY is one of the best buffets with unique cuisine in breakfast with customized th d on request, every morning and every night different cuisines with various parparts the world. Chef is always checking on guests to ensure they are satisfied and if they wanted anything.

Teppanyaki (Asian restaurant) experience in the resort was the best with excellent Chef Zubair who pampered us with extraordinary gesture and add espspecialste in dishes we ordered.

Bar is the best place to relax with music, drinks and entertainment every night. Rahul, Bala an,, aneir Supervisor provided the best time and services to us. Our dining experiences were made exceptional by the impeccable service provided by wh thele team. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that every meal was a delight. Staff was welcoming demedemeanou sincere apprehension for guest satisfaction whic, whic very evident in every gesture.

Shisha experience was unbelievable and guy from Nepal made the best Shisha and his kindness extended far beyond the mere duties of his role.

Amigos Restaurant has amazing Location especially during sun set. Jet skiing is also good but not enough option available as they need to upgrade the water sports, since they have lack of skies and staff.

The Spa experience was indescribable as the lady in Spa with her kindness and personality undoubtedly left a lasting impression to me and my wife during the visit.

Unforgettable entertainment shows, we have experienced on daily basis with unique set of talent, started with kids’ entertainment. We loved the way, how the entertainment team is interacting with guests and kids. Zezo and Ahmad were literally doing the whole event with the exceptional fire show, truly remarkable.

The villas are very clean, neat, and well-designed. We got private pool and Jacuzzi in our villa with widest ocean view that makes the Villa more beautiful and memorable.

Buggy Drivers are frequently available at everytime of stay and they are all like tourist guides, talking very nice and making you to know about the Maldives and the resort.

I suggest taking the full board option during as it will save a lot of money and hustle, which we missed. The only WORST part in ttrip was the local island trip which was very expensive and extremely waste of time and money, since we had literally wasted the time which can be utilized in resort. Local island has literally nothing to see or eat. It is t not recommended as it is waste of time and should be reviewed by Management for improvement.

In a nut shell, our stay at Furaveri Resort was excellent thanks to the wonderful team with excellent Restaurants and entertainment. Kids friendly and responsible cleaning and maintenance team taking care of our daily comfort. Suitable for couples and families with young children. Beautiful beaches, lots of baby sharks, Ray fish, and fishing experience.

Stone Hotels Dhiffushi

During our four-day stay, I truly discovered the exceptional atmosphere of the resort. The **service was flawless**, and the staff radiated friendliness and a laid-back vibe. It's clear that this positive energy stems from the top, as the General Manager went above and beyond, assisting me with vaccinations and onward travel plans. His follow-up after our departure showcased a commitment to guest satisfaction that is rare to find. This remarkable service from such a dedicated team made our experience unforgettable. Thank you, Paul, for making our stay so enjoyable!

Veligandu Island Resort & Spa

Just returned from the Maldives with a huge smile! For the first time we can honestly say that everything at this beautiful spot was as advertised on the website! Beautiful, but small island with an outstanding house reef delighting snorkeling enthusiasts (we saw sharks, all kinds of colorful fish, sea turtles, and stingrays just a couple of meters away from our water villa). The food is definitely superb! With an Alcasien chef at the head the kitchen team created wonderful dishes at a super high quality 3 times a day! Definitely the best buffet food we had in our life. The staff is very friendly and attentive, you always feel welcome and comfortably at ease. The facilities are great (pool, gym, bars, restaurant), the villas are nice as well but you can tell that they have seen many tourists come and gone over the last years (although you do not really see that they are 16 years old). We enjoyed them very much! Word on the street is that a huge renovation is coming up in 2023/2024. If they carry it out like they run their resort right now it will definitely be the best resort in the Maldives!

Friendly staff and a comfortable room. Although they need to update their pictures on Booking sites. The picture showed a balcony, but I got a room with barely even a window. Slightly disappointing.

A very good property by the sea side. The service was good, food also good. Though you cant swim or go to the sea because of the coarse sand, bikini beach is just a walk away. Overall very good experience

The resort offers a perfect balance of luxury and laid-back charm. The overwater bungalows were stunning, with direct access to the turquoise waters and we loved the wide range of water sports on offer.
